I learned concrete on new construction, pouring slabs and footings on empty lots where the schedule ran everything and nobody lived there yet. I started Bluffton Concrete in 2020 because I wanted to work on homes people already live in, where there's a car to move, a yard to protect and a family coming and going. Most of our calls come from homeowners and small property owners planning a driveway, a patio or a new slab, and the rest of what we pour is on our home page.
A lived-in home in Bluffton or the cities around it doesn't leave room for sloppy work, so I care most about the parts nobody sees once the concrete's down. That's the base, dug out and packed instead of raked level. It's the slope that carries water away from your house, and the control joints, which are grooves we cut so a crack usually runs where we chose instead of across the middle. I'd rather tell you a job isn't a good fit than pour something that won't hold up.
